Description
The Senior Legal Advisor will provide strategic legal counsel on a range of issues including governance, rule of law, human rights, and humanitarian law. This role requires extensive experience in the Afghan legal system and international legal frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on program implementation and compliance
- Review and draft legal documents and contracts
- Ensure alignment with Afghan laws and international standards
- Conduct legal research and analysis
- Support capacity building of local legal teams
Qualifications
- LL.M or equivalent advanced degree in Law
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of Afghan legal system
- Fluency in Dari, Pashto, and English
- Experience with international organizations preferred
